The Tachikawa was initially planned in 1943 as a high-performance air defense fighter aircraft. It was equipped with a pressurized cockpit and two engines, one in front of and one at the rear of the fuselage. Although it had an excellent cruising range in addition to heavy armaments of 30mm and 37mm machine guns, its development was discontinued due to many technical issues; it later evolved into the Ki-94-II.
This resin kit is intended for the experienced modeler, with resin-cast and precision 3D-printed parts, a transparent canopy and decals.
