Product Description
This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit.   Click here for sizing chart.

This kit from Mikro Mir is a completely new mold! The Ethan Allen class is a ballistic missile nuclear submarine operated by the U.S. Navy. Five ships of this type were in operation from the 1960s to the 1980s. With the commercialization of the submarine-launched ballistic missile Polaris, the U.S. Navy commissioned the George Washington class, which is a redesign of the Skipjack-class attack submarine as a strategic nuclear submarine; this class was the first to be designed as a strategic nuclear submarine from the beginning. When the Ohio class went into service in the early 1980s, the class was converted into an offensive nuclear-powered submarine to comply with the restrictions of the First Strategic Weapons Restriction Negotiation Treaty, two of which were to accommodate the transport of special forces. A dry deck shelter for operating SEAL transport submarines has been added from its 1983 overhaul, and a maximum of 67 troops can be carried.

This kit comes with photo-etched parts and decals. Order yours today!
