Product Description
This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit.   Click here for sizing chart.

This kit from Mikro Mir is a completely new mold! The Parche is a U.S. Navy Sturgeon-class nuclear submarine, laid down in 1970 at the Ingalls Shipyard, named in January 1973, and was launched and joined the Atlantic Fleet in August 1974. After being transferred to the Pacific Fleet in 1977, she was mainly used for information-gathering missions in Soviet territorial waters; as part of Operation Ivy Bells in 1979, she detected a Soviet submarine cable on the sea floor of Okhotsk, and tested Soviet ballistic missiles. This kit reproduces her appearance after a hull remodeling in 1987; photo-etched parts and decals are included. Order yours today!

  • [Size]: Approximately 34.9cm long when completed
