- The cockpit canopy is recreated with translucent parts.
- Special parts to suspend previously released combat armor models are included.
- The model can be built with the landing gear deployed or stowed away.
- Figures of the pilot and co-pilot are both included with the model.
- The various vehicle markings are included as water-application decals.
- The box art features illustrations by Hidetaka Tenjin.
