From the manufacturer:
The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang was an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II, the Korean War, and other conflicts. The Mustang was originally designed to use the Allison V-1710 engine as P-51A, which had limited high-altitude performance. British designers converted this machine in October 1942 by addition of the Rolls-Royce Merlin 65 with four blade propeller. This model transformed the Mustang's performance at altitudes above 15,000 ft., matching or bettering that of the Luftwaffe's fighters.
This kit is molded in grey and clear plastic and includes decals for two marking schemes.
