1/700 IJN Takao 1944

by  Fujimi
Product Description
This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit.   Click here for sizing chart.

Launched in May of 1930, the IJN heavy cruiser Takao served throughout the Pacific War, taking part in many campaigns and ending up as a stationary anti-aircraft defense battery after being heavily damaged by US submarines after the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944. She was finally used as a target practice ship for the HMs New Foundland.

This kit from Fujimi is an all-new tooling of the Takao, representing the ship as it appeared in 1944. Builds into a highly-detailed waterline model.
