The R35 GT-R Spec-V was developed as a high-sped model with numerous tunings for the purpose of improving the time on circuits, etc., and it first appeared in February 2009. The high-geared boost system keeps the maximum torque at 806Nm (62.0kgm) for 80 seconds by pressing the steering switch. Furthermore, the weight was reduced by 60kg compared to the base grade by adopting a dedicated Brembo carbon ceramic brake, eliminating the rear seats and reducing the unsprung weight to a two-seater.
