The USS Parche was a U.S. Navy Sturgeon-class submarine, laid down at Ingalls Shipyard in 1970 and launched in August 1974. She was mainly used for information-gathering missions in Soviet territorial waters.

This kit is a completely new mold, and represents the Parche before she was renovated with a hull extension based on the Research and Development plan from 1987 to 1991. Photo-etched parts and decals are included, as is the deep-sea rescue craft depicted on her upper hull on the box art. Order yours today!
