One of the last US carriers built in WWII. Initially named Ticonderoga, her name was changed to Hancock prior to launching, and she was commissioned on April 15, 1944. The Hancock saw plenty of action at Okinawa and Formosa, earning four battle stars for her service in WWII. She served decades more after the war, finally being decommissioned on January 30, 1976.

This is Hasegawa's veteran kit of the Hancock from its 1/700 Waterline Series. Includes a full complement of Hellcats, Corsairs, Helldivers, and Avengers, with national insignia decals for all aircraft.
