Product Description

This item is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Hasegawa's F9F-2 may be an older kit, but it is still the only representation of this important USN type in 1/72 scale. The kit features recessed panel lines, acceptably detailed cockpit and landing gear, and decals for 2 aircraft: a gloss sea blue plane from VF-781 and a white and gull gray plane of ATU-206. The VF-781 aircraft is pictured in the box art, and features red lightning bolts on the nose and wingtip tanks, while the ATU-206 aircraft features prominent red elevators, rudder, lower wing trailing edge and nose, with red chevrons on the upper wing and fuselage and red stripes on the wingtip tanks. Very colorful!
